Guan Gong Dao

The halberds are part of the long weapons family. It is an ornate version of the Pu Dao long sword. Traditionaly used to dismount the horsemens, the tail of the weapon could also be used as a spike or to hook the opponent. Due to the weight if the blade, the use of this weapon requires strenght, agility and coordination. Sold with red horse hair decoration.

Halberd from the «Chun Qiu Da Dao»'s family, also called «Qing Long Yan Yue Dao», this weapon is an exact replica of the General Kuan Kung's halberd (Three Kingdoms period). Today, General Kuan Kung, also known as Guan Yu, is considered as a «God of War».
Finely decorated (carved dragon on the blade, Kuan Kung's portrait on the central ring...), this upper range halberd may delight any Wushu's athlete looking for authenticity. Because of its weight (6,7kg), this halberd is often used by those who practiced Chen TaiJi.
