Geta 3
Geta are traditional Japanese shoes with a thick wooden sole ("Dai"), a fabric strap passing between the toes ("hanao") and one or more teeth under the sole ("ha"). These shoes are usually worn with a kimono or yukata ("summer kimono") during festivals ("matsuri"). These shoes are mixed but the color of the straps ("hanao") tends to be darker for men.
Geta can be worn barefoot with a yukata or Japanese socks called "tabis". These shoes are worn with the foot protruding 2 cm at the back and there is no distinction between the left and right foot.
